What excites you about Young Frankenstein the Musical?
I am very happy to work again with Vintage. I loved the experience I had for the first show I did, The Addams Family. I felt I was a member of a very welcoming family. And I love the songs from the show!
What’s your process like in preparing for a show like this, and how does that process change (if at all) from other shows?
Because it is a heavy dance show, I need to make sure I am in good shape. This could be very demanding on the body.
What’s your biggest challenge about taking on this role?
Dance, sing, act and breathe! That’s the challenge!
How did you get started performing?
I moved to Paris, France, from my hometown Nantes (France) when I was 20 years old. I decided to register in an acting class because it was something I had in mind but I was afraid to make the first step. It was one of the best decisions in my life.
Why do you still perform?
Because I love it! And I love even more being surrounded by all these beautiful talented people.
What’s your dream role, and what do you feel you would bring to it?
I’m not sure if I have a dream role, but my dream is to work with companies that inspire me. Vintage is one of them.
What’s a fun fact people may not know about you?
I never performed in a musical when I was in France. I started here in Colorado. Because Musicals are not a thing in France, I never would have thought I would be able to do it. It is still unreal when I think about it.
